Hogan Lovells advises awork on 5 million euros Series-A financing

Munich, 27 January 2023 – Led by Munich Partner Nikolas Zirngibl and Senior Associate Kilian Pfahl, global law firm Hogan Lovells advised Hamburg start-up awork on a Series-A financing round of 5 million euros.

The software company, founded in 2019, has developed a work management tool that supports teams in digital collaboration. The fresh capital will be used to support the company's further growth and impact on its customers. The financing round was led by new investors Hi Inov-Dentressangle and Swiss Post Ventures. Both investors bring experience in the B2B SaaS field and are experts in internationalization from the German-speaking region. Additionally, the founders and existing investors participated in the financing round.

awork plans to double the number of users of its product in the coming year. More than 2,000 corporate customers, including thjnk, fischerAppelt, Ströer, EnBW, already use the tool.

Hogan Lovells advised awork on all legal issues in the Series-A financing.
