Hogan Lovells appoints Biswajit Chatterjee as new Office Managing Partner of its Singapore Office
Singapore, 21 June 2023 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce Biswajit Chatterjee as the new Office Managing Partner for the firm's Singapore office effective July 1, 2023. Bis succeeds Alex Wong who is leaving the partnership to become a Judicial Commissioner of the Singapore Supreme Court with effect from 1 August 2023.
Bis is a U.S. and India qualified corporate partner, who joined the firm in July 2021, with a focus on capital markets, M&A and private equity transactions. He has extensive experience in advising clients on cross-border corporate & finance transactions across various industries including technology, fintech, life sciences, real estate, energy and infrastructure. Bis has a deep understanding of the India market and in recent years, has advised on some of the largest and significant equity offerings in India and Southeast Asia. He also supports clients on a range of regulatory issues, including economic sanctions, government procurement, white collar investigations and corporate governance.
