Hogan Lovells advises Enel on the renewal of its €8 billion Euro-Commercial Paper Programme

Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Enel Finance International, as issuer, and Enel S.p.A., as guarantor, on the update of their Guaranteed Euro-Commercial Paper Programme, with a maximum aggregate amount of €8 billion.

The programme has also obtained the STEP (Short-Term European Paper) Label from the STEP Secretariat.

The ECP notes will not be listed and will be offered exclusively to professional investors.

The Hogan Lovells team that advised on the transaction was led by partner Alessandro Accrocca, and included associates Edoardo Minnetti and Noemi Biagini, and trainee Riccardo Del Torto. Partners Robert Masman together with associate Daniel de Bruijn advised on the Dutch law aspects, while partner Alexander Fortuin handled the dutch tax law aspects. Head of Tax Italy Serena Pietrosanti, counsel Maria Cristina Conte and associate Mariateresa Soave Carparelli advised on the tax aspects of the transaction.
