Hogan Lovells advises Bank Millennium on strategic bancassurance partnership and the sale of its shares in Millennium Financial Services

Warsaw, 17 February 2023 - The Hogan Lovells Warsaw office has advised Bank Millennium S.A. on the establishment of a long-term bancassurance cooperation, as well as the conclusion of an agreement to sell 80% of its shares in Millennium Financial Services sp. z o.o. to Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie Europa S.A., and Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Europa S.A. The completion of the transaction is subject to obtaining approval from the relevant antitrust authority.
Beata Balas-Noszczyk (Office Managing Partner) supervised the legal advice of the Hogan Lovells team.
The Hogan Lovells team was led by corporate counsel Tomasz Grygorczuk. Counsel Bartosz Romanowski coordinated the bancassurance aspects of the transaction.
