Merve Mert is an experienced English law qualified finance lawyer and focuses on the financing of complex transactions in energy and infrastructure sectors. She advises lenders, sponsors, borrowers and investors on a wide range of international and domestic transactions. Merve is also qualified as a solicitor in Ireland, as an attorney in Istanbul, and as a European Lawyer (europäische Rechtsanwältin) in Frankfurt am Main.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Merve gained significant experience in leveraged and acquisition financings in banking & finance teams of magic circle and American law firms in Frankfurt for more than seven years, and before that, she spent almost four years with renowned local and international law firms in Istanbul focusing on companies law and M&A transactions.
