Melanie Schub specializes in product-related regulatory issues. In addition, she advises clients on matters of contract, trade and distribution law. She has extensive industry-specific experience, particularly in the automotive, industrials and technology sectors.

Melanie primarily helps clients around the world deal with European as well as national product requirements. Her practice particularly covers the areas of environment, chemicals, and circular economy.

Since joining Hogan Lovells, Melanie has supported clients in particular in complex cross-border product compliance issues. She advises, among others, on legal obligations, including potential corrective measures, as well as rules of conduct and defends clients in regulatory proceedings. Furthermore, she advises companies on European market entry requirements and on the market launch of innovative products in various jurisdictions. Her work therefore regularly includes the coordination of multi-jurisdictional reviews.

Melanie also advises companies on contract projects, such as development and cooperation agreements.

Melanie studied in Munich and joined Hogan Lovells in 2017.
