Matthew Marchiori focuses his practice on complex government and internal investigations. He began his Hogan Lovells career as a Summer Associate in 2020.
Matthew practices in the Investigations, White Collar, and Fraud group, where he helps guide clients through the risks associated with criminal and civil enforcement actions. His experience includes representing clients in matters related to the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and various state attorneys general.
Since joining the firm, Matthew has maintained an active pro bono practice that includes successfully obtaining civil protection orders for victims of domestic violence, representing clients in immigration matters, and conducting legal research and litigation support for post-conviction relief proceedings.
During law school, Matthew served on the editorial board for the Catholic University Law Review and gained valuable experience while completing a certificate program in Compliance, Investigations, and Corporate Responsibility.
