Before joining Hogan Lovells, Julia worked as a mergers and acquisitions associate in the New York office of a global law firm. 

While in law school, Julia was an editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law and a student lawyer with the Detkin Intellectual Property and Technology Legal Clinic.
