Jessica Li focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, and general corporate practices. She has advised several domestic and multinational companies on their M&A deals and business expansion in and outside China.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked at another international law firm. Jessica has considerable experience in foreign direct investment in China, especially in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector.

Advising an offshore fund in its proposed investment in a green construction materials R&D company with its main business operation in China.

Advised a U.S. company in its proposed investment in a Chinese 3C products and artificial intelligence company in its financing prior to initial public offering.

Advised a Canada-based company in its proposed bid acquisition of another Canadian company conducting equipment R&D and production businesses worldwide.

Advised a U.S. leading e-commerce company in its proposed investment in a Chinese company conducting C2C e-commerce cross-border business.

Advised a U.S. company from 2015 to 2018 in its contractual arrangements with a Chinese state-owned enterprise (SOE) conducting data center business in China.

Advised an onshore private equity firm in its proposed investment in a company conducting online education business in China in 2017.
