Greg represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters with a particular focus on class action data breach lawsuits. An experienced trial attorney, Greg brings a strategic perspective to his clients' needs, helping craft innovative and aggressive approaches to accomplish their goals.

Greg has experience defending clients in major multidistrict litigation cases. His cases involve various substantive laws, including state consumer protection statutes, data breach notifications acts, and state common law causes of action. He helps clients through all phases of litigation, including advocating for dismissal, conducting offensive and defensive discovery, deposing or defending fact and expert witnesses, and opposing class certification.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Greg served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia. In this role, he conducted nearly 20 trials, questioned hundreds of witnesses in open court or the grand jury, and spearheaded dozens of investigations. His practice focused on prosecuting individuals who commit violent crimes, including three years of prosecuting homicide cases. He served as first chair in three murder jury trials, each resulting in guilty verdicts. This experience helps him see the big picture in any case and forecast the pitfalls and opportunities for clients well in advance.

Greg served as a law clerk to the Honourable Theodore D. Chuang of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Outside of his practice at Hogan Lovells, he is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve and served six years as an active-duty Air Force officer.
