As part of the Financial Services Litigation team, Lucy focuses on financial services and other commercial disputes, investigations and contentious regulatory matters.
Lucy has experience of litigating commercial disputes on a range of issues and for a variety of clients, often in the financial services sector. Her work often involves an international element and she has experience advising clients in relation to litigation both in the UK and overseas.
Representative experience
Acting for the Kazakhstan Kagazy group, in funded litigation (including proceedings before the English High Court), to enforce a US$300m+ judgment against assets in England, Switzerland and Cyprus.
Acting for a leading UK bank in a complex portfolio of litigation arising out of adverse regulatory findings.
Advising a leading UK bank on regulatory investigations into benchmarks in multiple jurisdictions, including the UK and the U.S.
Advising an African bank in relation to enforcement proceedings against a Nigerian borrower.
