Aine Kelly advises banks, lenders and payment providers on commercial, regulatory and transactional issues.

Aine has worked in-house at a major UK bank and understands the challenges faced by clients navigating complex regulatory regimes. Using her knowledge of remediation and regulatory change projects, Aine anticipates the operational difficulties that regulation can cause, enabling clients to spot issues early and adopt workable solutions.

Aine advises on issues arising under sector specific regulation including the Consumer Credit Act, the Payment Services Regulation, BCOBS, CONC and MCOB as well as the impact of unfair terms, consumer rights, data protection and AML on the financial services sector.

Aine's transactional experience includes advising financial institutions and insurers on the acquisition and sale of loan and mortgage portfolios.
