Katherine M. Bastian focuses her practice on all aspects of trademark protection, including prosecution, litigation, enforcement, and counseling. Katherine represents a wide range of clients, ensuring that their valuable brands are protected and leveraged.

Katherine works with clients to obtain trademark and trade dress protection and enforce their IP rights. She also has experience litigating trademark and trade dress cases when those rights have been infringed. In addition, clients turn to Katherine when they face issues involving unfair competition or false advertising.

Barred in both Virginia and the District of Columbia, Katherine has trial experience in federal district court. Prior to attending law school at the University of Virginia, she spent a year in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar and is proficient in German.
