Julio Zugasti advises on compliance matters and government contracts, helping clients look for opportunities in both state and federal public procurement matters. He has represented foreign and national clients involved with extensive public procurement procedures at all levels of government.

Julio also helps clients facing significant legal challenges, with a focus on internal investigations involving white collar issues. Julio has experience working on corporate matters, which helps him understand opportunities for clients within compliance matters. Julio sees how contracts, anti-corruption issues, and general business matters affect one another.

Julio has helped clients resolve contract enforcement problems as painlessly as possible and has improved relationships between clients and public entities, when applicable.

Julio is also involved with aviation matters, including advising aeronautics companies regarding aircraft transactions (e.g., purchase and lease operations) and regulation procedures with the Mexican Aeronautics Registry (Registro Aeronáutico Mexicano) and the Mexican Civil Aviation Authority (Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil), among other public entities. Julio also advises clients on all kinds of unmanned aircraft systems related developments in Mexico.

Julio is dedicated to giving back to his community and has participated in activities in support of the Community Investment Program of the Mexico City office.
