Ashley Howlett

Ashley Howlett focuses on antitrust clearance and analysis of mergers and acquisitions, particularly those involving multi-jurisdictional investigations and second requests. She also has experience in non-merger antitrust investigations, litigation, and counseling. Ashley has assisted in representing clients in matters before the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission, as well as various U.S. federal courts.

While at Harvard Law School, Ashley was the Managing Editor of the Harvard Journal on Racial and Ethnic Justice, participated in the Harvard Negotiation Workshop and Trial Advocacy Workshop, worked as a student attorney in the Harvard Transactional Law Clinic, and served as an intern at the Fair Labor Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts. Prior to law school, Ashley interned at several financial and professional services firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Ernst & Young, and Morgan Stanley. She also participated in the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity Corporate Law Program.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Ashley was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of a major international law firm.
