Acted for BTI (a subsidiary of British American Tobacco) in relation to a claim of professional negligence claim against PwC in respect of its audit of the accounts of a company known as AWA.

Acted for a global telecommunications company in relation to claims alleging vicarious liability for economic torts arising from a number of alleged cyber-attacks.*

Acted for a telecommunications company post-acquistion as part of a cross-border investigation into potential criminal activties including politcally sensitive embezzlement and corruption issues.*

Acted for an international joint-venture company conducting internal investigations following whistle-blower allegations.*

Acted for a global insurance company in relation to a professional negligence claim arising from a reinsurance agreement.*

Advising majority creditors (subsidiaries of British American Tobacco) in successfully applying to court to remove Joint Administrators of an insolvent estate.

Representing a Swiss-headquartered oil trading company in the English High Court in defence of complex contractual claims of US$200m.

Acting for a global car manufacturer in a major group action arising out of alleged breaches of emissions regulations in vehicles.
