Giannina Kreutz advises clients on complex national and cross-border transactions and joint ventures in the infra and energy sectors. Giannina has over 10 years experience as a corporate lawyer with a strong focus on M&A and also restructuring matters. 

Giannina's practice covers generation assets (gas, coal, nuclear, renewables), fibre, e-mobility, transmission and distribution assets but also waste management systems. She frequently advises national and international clients such as sponsors, banks and financial investors on complex deals and legal questions. She also covers the advice of banks, shareholders, managing directors and other stakeholders in the event on an economic crisis of companies. 

Representative experience

*Advising Interzero, Europe’s leading recycling and circular economy services provider, on a partnership with an oil and gas group for Europe's biggest sorting plant for chemical recycling.

Advising Interzero on a joint venture with a manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for battery recycling including commercial agreements for feedstock and offtake.*

Advising Interzero, on its entry as an investor in Sykell, a start-up active in the field of production and management of reusable packaging for the food industry as well as commercial agreements.*

Advising Trotec Holding GmbH in connection with the sale of Trotec GmbH to a fund of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) and the owner of Trotec on the re-investment.*

Advising Q-Energy on the acquisition of a portfolio of 16 wind parks in Germany (total capacity 109 MW) from MEAG.*

Advising Interzero on a partnership with digital waste management and recycling platform Resourcify and the launch of their new joint service “Zero Waste Manager.”*

Advising Infracapital on the planned entry of a minority shareholder in Infrafibre Germany GmbH, a company for roll-out of  fiber and fiber operation.*

Advisig ALBA Group on the investment of the Techcent-owning family Deng in the ALBA Group.*

Advising an insolvent automotive supplier on the successful sale of its business operations to a US investor.*

German publishing house: Advising on M&A transactions on the buyer side.*
