Mike Gendall focuses his practice on antitrust litigation, with substantial experience litigating against the federal government and state attorneys general, as well as defending class-action claims.
Mike has represented clients in high-stakes cases involving all aspects of antitrust law, including mergers and acquisitions, price fixing, market allocation, exclusive dealing, monopolization, and attempted monopolization, among others. He has substantial experience at all stages of litigation, including preliminary injunctions, trials, and appeals.
Mike is also dedicated to public service and was one of the inaugural recipients of Hogan Lovells' Pro Bono Trailblazer Award.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Mike served as a law clerk to the Honorable Carolyn B. McHugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Honorable J. Curtis Joyner of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Successfully represented hardware manufacturer in merger litigation and trial, defeating Department of Justice's attempt to block $4.3 billion acquisition.
Representation of a global pharmaceutical company in government investigations and class actions alleging price fixing, "pay for delay" patent settlements, and consumer protection claims.
Representation of a global hotel chain in distributor lawsuit alleging a conspiracy regarding online paid search advertising.
Successfully represented clients seeking to challenge state laws and regulations on federal preemption grounds.
Pro bono represention of a same-sex couple in civil rights lawsuit against federal government agencies.
Pro bono representation in federal habeas corpus proceedings of an incarcerated individual serving a life sentence.
Representation of an automotive parts manufacturer in multidistrict class action litigation alleging price fixing.*
