Sara is a member of the Tax practice group and the tax structuring team for asset finance and acquisitions in Hogan Lovells’ Madrid office.
Sara advises on the design, implementation and monitoring of structures for the financing of assets such as vessels, film productions and R&D&I projects, based on the application and use of tax measures and incentives, providing advice from a tax, commercial and financial perspective within the framework of Spanish and European regulations.
In addition, Sara also provides tax and financial advice to shipping companies.
Representative experience
Advising Spanish financial institutions on design and implementation of tax-based structures under the new Spanish tax lease scheme, and the whole life of the transaction (tax, corporate, financial)
Advising on the design and implementation of tax structures for the financing of film productions.
