Michael Fisher is a commercial litigator with a practice that focuses on complex commercial litigation. He has worked on a wide range of disputes, including breach of contract, fraud, trade secrets misappropriation, and secured transactions, on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Several of these disputes have reached trial, where Michael has gained insights on how to translate complex disputes into straightforward narratives for both judges and juries.

Michael has devoted a substantial amount of time to pro bono matters, including representing Iraqi nationals who were detained and abused at the Abu Ghraib prison during the Iraq War. The trial team eventually obtained a $42 million verdict for the Iraqi nationals against a private contractor. For his work on behalf of disabled New York residents seeking city transportation benefits, Michael received the 2022 New York County Bar Association Pro Bono Award.

Outside of private practice, Michael has significant judicial law clerk experience, clerking for both Judge Jane Boyle in the Northern District of Texas and Judge Robert N. Scola in the Southern District of Florida.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked as an associate at a boutique litigation firm in Miami and two law firms in New York.
