Etienne Durand advises clients on EU competition law, with a focus on EU litigation. He works on antitrust disputes as well as State aid, Foreign Subsidies Regulation and EU regulatory matters, including proceedings before the General Court and the Court of Justice of the EU. He began his Hogan Lovells career as a legal trainee in 2023.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Etienne worked at the European Commission, where he contributed to legislative and policy work on EU internal market matters.

Earlier, Etienne worked at an international association in the cultural sector, advising members on EU law matters, including competition and internal market issues.
