Freddie Doust is an associate in Hogan Lovells Restructuring & Special Situations team. He has experience advising on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency transactions, including complex multi-jurisdictional restructurings, restructuring plans, schemes of arrangement, distressed M&A and contingency planning for creditors, corporates and insolvency office holders.

Freddie was also the lead lawyer in the distressed/legal function for 9fin, a leading provider of debt market intelligence, in Europe.

Acted for the joint energy administrators of Bulb Energy in the first ever energy supply company administration*

Acted for the RCF lenders to KCA Deutag in connection its restructuring via an English scheme of arrangement*

Acted for Lehman Brothers International (Europe) in connection with the settlement of various significant liabilities flowing from the bank’s insolvency*

Acted (as lead London associate) for Lecta on its restructuring via an English scheme of arrangement, and its subsequent recapitalisation*
