Harsimar Dhanoa helps businesses navigate the fast-paced nature of the regulatory uncertainty at the intersection of technology, law, and policy.
After completing externships with a member of Congress, the Federal Trade Commission, and a leading global technology company prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Harsimar saw first-hand the impact of the evolving regulatory landscape on how businesses and innovation. Leveraging a client-first approach, he assists in advising clients on compliance with existing privacy and security laws, responding to regulatory inquiries, and understanding how proposed laws will affect a company's products and its customers.
Harsimar also maintains an active pro bono practice and a commitment to diversity in the legal field.
While in law school, he was a Technology Law & Policy Scholar, a Law Fellow, and a student lawyer with the school's Institute for Public Representation Communications & Technology clinic. Harsimar also served as a managing editor of the Georgetown Law Technology Review.
