As part of the Capital Markets practice, Axel Delaud acts for trustees, agents and other service providers in relation to a broad range of capital markets products as well as advising on post-issuance amendments, restructurings and distressed debt situations. He also advises on a range of securitisation and structured debt capital markets transactions acting for arrangers, issuers and originators. He trained with Hogan Lovells spending six months in the Capital Markets practice in London and a further six months in the Capital Markets team in Paris.

He is part of our knowledgeable team of advisers to corporate finance trustees within our International Debt Capital Markets practice. The Hogan Lovells trustee practice has been recognized as a market leader in advising trustees and has advised trustees involved in distressed positions with nominal values in excess of US$60bn since 2007.

Representative experience

Arrangers on a US$20bn asset-backed euro commercial paper programme.

 

FCE on the securitisation of £542m auto loan receivables.

Marex Financial on its first Tier 2 Subordinated Notes Programme.

A leading provider of custody and account services on a large post-Brexit repapering project for over 200 debt transactions (straight debt, structured finance, CLOs and loans).

Trustee and Security Trustee on the securitisation of €305m residential mortgages.

The Security Agent and Facility Agent in relation to a trade receivables financing for a global chemicals group.

Trustee in relation to defaults of several aircraft financing Notes.
