Practice groupCorporate & Finance

Darcy Bisset makes energy and infrastructure projects work. An experienced negotiator and draftsman, Darcy listens to her clients' goals and produces effective, efficient documentation so that transactions can close and projects can operate. Her practice focuses on projects at all stages of the life cycle: from development-stage energy facilities using first-of-their-kind technology to the expansion and extension of late-stage power plants.

Darcy helps clients build, operate, buy, sell, and finance energy and infrastructure projects. She has experience with a broad variety of energy technologies including solar, fuel cells, biomass, wind, biofuels, hydro, waste-to-energy, gas, and coal. Darcy advises developers, energy companies, utilities, equity funds, power purchasers, governmental entities, and other clients in the structuring of project contracts and related joint venture arrangements, the negotiation of project acquisitions, and the financing of projects and portfolios.

Darcy is experienced in managing complex specialist teams for cross-border portfolio acquisitions, but also maintains an active practice in the negotiation of discrete project and operations contracts for small-scale and distributed generation facilities.
