Daniel E. González

Whether down the road or across continents, Daniel González focuses on clients' most complex disputes, providing innovative solutions that support the bottom line. As Global Head of our International Arbitration practice, Dan dedicates his full-time practice to international commercial litigation and arbitration, representing clients' interests in the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

With a focus on construction and infrastructure, as well as energy, financial services, securities, and telecommunications, Dan provides deep acumen into industry matters involving commercial, distributorship, technology, engineering, procurement, construction, and design/build contracts, among others. He provides fully bilingual (English and Spanish) counsel in both common and civil law jurisdictions to effectively provide strategy and analysis in achieving favorable results. As lead trial and arbitral counsel in multijurisdictional disputes, Dan can try a matter from inception through to judgment or confirmation of the award.

Dan is often asked to serve as an arbitrator or international mediator in complex commercial disputes and to serve as speaker on arbitration in emerging markets. Latin Business Chronicle named Dan one of the top 30 lawyers working in Latin America and The Miami Herald previously named him as one of the top five arbitration lawyers in South Florida, the fastest growing arbitral seat for cross-border disputes between Latin American and Asian, European, and U.S. parties.
