Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Charnice served as the first judicial extern to the Honorable Ana C. Reyes for the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia and was a judicial intern to the Honorable Margaret Chan for the Supreme Court of New York where she gained insight into the judicial process. In addition, Charnice was an inaugural student attorney who established GW Law’s Health Equity Policy & Advocacy Clinic. Charnice developed the Clinic’s medical-legal partnership operational strategy and engaged in policy advocacy for the Lead-Safe Housing for Kids Act. Charnice holds a concentration in Intellectual Property and is the 2023 recipient of the Justice Thurgood Marshall Award for Civil Liberties from GW Law.
Charnice is actively involved in public service and pro bono matters pertaining to social security claims and death penalty appeals.
