Lauren Colantonio leverages her industry and government experience to advise clients on all matters relating to government contracts and federal grants compliance.

In industry, Lauren analyzed data and identified trends in a major defense contractor's federal subcontracting spend and oversaw various compliance processes surrounding small business programs. She next served as an administrative aide to a U.S. Senator on Capitol Hill where she managed the office grants program to advise constituents seeking federal aid and secured over US$25 million of federal grant funding. Lauren now advises clients on significant government contracts and grants issues such as cost allowability, cost accounting standards, contract pricing and contract types, domestic preference requirements, conflicts of interest, research misconduct, the False Claims Act, and appropriations.

While earning her Juris Doctor, Lauren served as a legal extern to the Honorable Timothy Tymkovich during his tenure as Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Lauren worked in the Government Contracts practice of another global law firm.
