Christian Hentrich sources, creates and delivers all sorts of finance law-related knowledge to the German Finance teams at Hogan Lovells. Together with our lawyers in the Practice Areas of Banking and Loan Finance, Business Restructuring and Insolvency, Debt Capital Markets, Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects as well as Securities and Public Company Advisory, he strives to ensure high quality, innovative and cost-efficient legal advice to all Finance-clients.

Having previously worked as a counsel in the Munich and London offices of a "magic circle" law firm as well as in the legal department of a leading German commercial bank within a pan-European banking group, Christian has extensive finance law experience. He advised local and international clients, including sponsors, multinational corporates and financial institutions, on sophisticated national and cross-border financings of various kinds. As in-house legal counsel Christian was also involved in major internal projects such as the LIBOR-transition where he took a leading role on the legal side. He has been and is recognised as a trusted adviser with a focus on practical solutions.

Christian is able to assess very complex legal and commercial issues, document them in contracts, including model documents, and provide legal training in that respect.
