Madelyn focuses her practice on legal issues related to litigation, employment, and arbitration. She has a strong foundation in legal research and analysis, and clerked for Magistrate Judge William B. Porter in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Madelyn earned her J.D. from William & Mary Law School. While in law school, she was a judicial extern for the District Judge Raymond A. Jackson in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She also served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Bill of Rights Journal, and as a teaching assistant for Professors Rebecca Green, Kami Chavis, and Paul Marcus.

Before law school, Madelyn was an AmeriCorps member working for the Department of Juvenile Services in Baltimore City.
