Lexi Bender focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance matters.
She has experience representing private and public companies in a range of industries, including technology and life sciences. Lexi is involved with mergers and aquisitions for clients in the sports and entertainment industry as well.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Lexi worked as a corporate associate in Boston with another international law firm. She earned her J.D. in 2020 from Northeastern University School of Law while playing professional ice hockey, serving as a senior editor on the Northeastern University Law Review, and participating in Northeastern’s Community Business Clinic. She earned her B.S. in 2016 from Boston College.

Helped guide a consortium led by Josh Harris in the acquisition of the NFL’s Washington Commanders for a reported US$6.05 billion, the highest value sports franchise transaction in U.S. history.
Advised Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE: TMO) on its acquisition of MarqMetrix, Inc., a Seattle, Washington-based developer of Raman spectroscopy solutions.
Represented Go1, the Australia-based EdTech unicorn, on its acquisition of mobile learning app Blinkist.
Advised OutSystems, a global leader in high-performance application development, on its acquisition of Ionic.
