Sascha has experience in arbitration proceedings under a variety of arbitration rules, including ICSID, ICC, SCC and DIS. His work focuses on proceedings in the areas of life sciences, construction and energy.
Sascha studied law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and is a doctoral candidate in international investment arbitration at the Georg-August University in Göttingen. During his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt, he gained experience in international arbitration in our firm and in a renowned boutique for sports law. Before joining Hogan Lovells, he trained with two international arbitration firms in Frankfurt, Germany. He is fluent in German and English.

Representing a pharmaceutical company in a post M&A arbitration under DIS rules.

Representing a state in an investor-state arbitration under ICC Rules arising from an airport service agreement.
Advising a government in set aside proceedings before the Svea Court in Stockholm concerning a SCC award rendered in an investor-state arbitration based on the Energy Charter Treaty.
