Alexander Bathelt advises you on all aspects of European and German data protection law and IT law. He represents and advises clients in contractual matters as well as in proceedings before supervisory authorities.
Besides data protection law, his legal education war also focused on intellectual property law and antitrust law. He deepend this knowledge during his time as a research assistant and lecturer at the University of Bayreuth, where he obtained a PhD in the field of intellectual property law.
In addition to his law studies at the University of Bayreuth, Alexander pursued additional studies in economics, which he completed with the degree Wirtschaftsjurist (University of Bayreuth). During his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Dusseldorf, he gained practical experience in an antitrust boutique law firm, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and our IPMT practise group.
