Emma is an Associate in the International Arbitration and Construction & Engineering Disputes team in London. She has experience in high value, complex and cross-border proceedings. Emma has acted for clients in arbitration and litigation proceedings across a range of industry sectors including aerospace and defence, life sciences and telecommunications.

Emma completed her BA in History at Merton College, University of Oxford before undertaking her legal studies in London and is a qualified solicitor of England and Wales. Emma has also worked in the Hogan Lovells’ International Arbitration team in the Paris office during her secondment there in 2023 – 2024.

Representative experience

Acting for a life sciences company in arbitration proceedings regarding the alleged wrongful termination of a contract for the supply and distribution of products in China.

Acting for a leading telecommunications provider in litigation proceedings arising from disputed performance of the contract. 

Advising a major aerospace and defence company on the potential termination of a complex framework of contracts in the Middle East.

Acting for a government entity in Technology and Construction Court proceedings regarding a public procurement process.
