As a senior associate in our International Arbitration group, Lucas Aubry focuses his practice on commercial and investment treaty arbitration.
Lucas acts for companies and on behalf of States, with a particular focus on international investment disputes in the energy, transportation and telecommunications sectors. He has specific experience of arbitration under the ICSID, UNCITRAL and ICC rules.
Representative experience
Representing a French investor in an ICSID treaty arbitration and subsequent annulment and revision proceedings against an Eastern European State regarding the introduction of tax reforms.
Representing a Latin American State in an ICSID treaty arbitration brought by a company in the Internet industry.
Representing an American company in ad-hoc UNCITRAL arbitration proceedings relating to the operation of a chemicals plant in France.
Advising a Western African State in relation to the implementation of new investment legislation.
Advising an African company in ICC arbitration proceedings in relation to the renovation of a hotel.
