Art van der Pols is a Netherlands law qualified finance lawyer with special interest in acquisition financings and debt capital market products, acting both for borrowers and lenders. He advises banks, financial institutions and corporate clients in a wide range of both domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including general corporate lending, real estate financing, acquisition financing, asset based financing, factoring and capital market transactions.
He has been seconded to a Dutch investment bank.

Acting for a German bank on a number of commodities finance transactions, largely borrowing based.
Advising a major European health and fitness operator in relation to a LBO and subsequent restructuring.
Acting for an international syndicate as to a project refinancing in relation to the construction of a 240 MW peaking power plant.
Advising a syndicate of banks in relation to an investment grade financing to a major global luxury fashion and style house.
Advising FCE Bank as issuers' counsel on various securitisation transactions.
