His areas of practice include commercial landlord and tenant matters, disputes arising out of transfers of property interests, rights of light and other easements, vacant possession strategy, property-related insolvency,  land registration and agents’ commission disputes.

Joseph also advises on property-related professional liability.

Acting for the landlord in dilapidations proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court relating to factory premises in Manchester (settled immediately before trial)

Advising a housebuilder on vacant possession strategy and rights of light issues concerning its construction of a residential tower complex in Canary Wharf
