Brittany focuses her practice on a wide range of complex litigation matters including insurance disputes and financial services litigation, as well as government investigations. She has experience participating in various phases of pre-trial practice including drafting pleadings, reviewing experts' reports, and drafting dispositive motions.
Brittany is passionate about public service and pro bono work, particularly regarding voting rights and criminal justice matters. She has successfully argued for a client's petition for early release from his lengthy term of probation, and was a member of a team litigating for post-conviction relief for an Alabama death row inmate.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Brittany worked as a litigation associate at an international law firm in Philadelphia, where she gained experience working with complex commercial litigation and products liability cases. Prior to that, Brittany was a judicial staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
While in law school, Brittany was on the executive board of the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy, as well as a published author for the journal.
Successfully argued for dismissal of claims in a contract and payment dispute on behalf of an engineering and consulting firm.*
Contributed to the representation of a national pharmaceutical distributor in multidistrict and state court litigation related to the opioid crisis.*
Successfully argued in favor of leading carshare company in a dispute over its membership agreement.*
Advised health care practitioner in membership interest dispute and severance negotiations.*
