Allison works to help the firm avoid and mitigate legal risk in all areas of the firm’s business.  That includes training new lawyers to the firm, and serving as a resource assisting in the response when the firm receives subpoenas for its documents or client file transfer requests.

Prior to joining the General Counsel’s office, Allison worked as a Discovery Attorney and the Discovery Attorney Team Lead at the firm.  In those positions, Allison worked with clients through all phases of legal discovery and electronic discovery, including document retention, document collection, review and analysis, and document production.  She created and implemented complex discovery projects and managed document reviewers in offices across the globe. Allison advised clients regarding privilege issues and compliance with federal and state discovery rules.  She assisted on contract dispute, antitrust, employment, white collar, government regulatory, and intellectual property matters in a variety of firm sectors, including environmental, automotive, and pharmaceuticals.

She began her career in a clerkship, researching and drafting decisions for the courts. Allison then joined a mid-sized law firm as an associate, covering all stages of litigation and fact discovery. Following this, Allison worked as a contract attorney, where she was responsible for electronic discovery reviews and handled a variety of cases, including several government and pharmaceutical investigations.
