Albert Turnbull answers lawyers' questions about legal ethics, professional responsibility, and the unauthorized practice of law. He is our associate general counsel and co-chairs our Internal Legal Ethics Committee.

Albert serves on and previously chaired the District of Columbia Bar's Legal Ethics Committee, which publishes opinions answering ethics questions. Albert also served on the D.C. Bar's Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee from 2002 until 2009. In that capacity, he participated in the process that led to the extensive revisions to the D.C. Rules of Professional Conduct that took effect in 2007, and to certain further revisions that the D.C. Court of Appeals adopted in 2015.
