Adrianni Marhain-Prante advises national and international companies on all matters concerning commercial and corporate law, particularly in the energy sector. 

Since joining Hogan Lovells in 2020, Adrianni has focused on the negotiation and drafting of complex contracts for international M&A transactions. She advises a wide range of clients, from large domestic and international corporations to SMEs and family-owned businesses.

Adrianni's experience before joining Hogan Lovells includes working on M&A transactions and disputes involving offshore wind farms in the renewable energy practice group of a leading law firm in Germany. Before relocating to Germany from her native Singapore, Adrianni represented the Singapore government in various international treaty negotiations as Senior Assistant Director of the International Legal Division in the Ministry of Law. Prior to this, she was a Deputy Public Prosecutor & State Counsel at the Attorney-General's Chambers, Singapore for five years.

Adrianni is also passionate about pro bono work, particularly those with an international law and/or human rights angle. She has been involved in numerous Hogan Lovells pro bono projects, including supporting the UN Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Racism, assisting ECPAT UK on the international rights of children and working with the International Rescue Committee Deutsches Bündnis für Afghanische Flüchtlinge (DBAF) project to provide legal support to Afghan refugees seeking resettlement in Germany.

Representative experience

Advising Dagmar Vogt Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH on the sale of its 51% share in ib vogt GmbH, a leading solar PV portfolio project developer.

Advising Marquard & Bahls AG on the sale of Skytanking GmbH.

Advising Safran S.A. on the sale of its train business in Germany. 

Advising antoni Holding GmbH, a digitally-native advertising agency, on its acquisition by US company Omnicom Group Inc.
