Adrian Walker

Adrian wants to make a difference and help his clients do the same. He works with clients to make peoples' lives better. With a focus on global 'gamechanging' projects that have the greatest impact, he combines his love of developing physical infrastructure and improving public services, driving social enterprise and combining both with good, profitable business. Adrian is Co-leader of our Social Impact and Business Integrity Groups and is a former member of the World Economic Forum's Social Innovation Council. He is Global Co-head of the firm's Infrastructure, Energy, Resources & Projects practice. He has considerable experience of advising both the private and public sectors in the most complex projects across a broad range of sectors.

Adrian is recognised as a 'Listed Individual' for infrastructure, projects, emerging markets, mining and minerals, power and rail in the Legal 500 and is described as 'excellent', and he is also recommended in Chambers for PFI /PPP workHis work includes advising on risk structuring, bid submission and negotiation, together with risk management on on-going projects and dispute resolution. Advising a major Russian petrochemical company on the development of a Project financed U.S.$3.5bn ammonia plant in Russia.

Advising on rail and metro projects, including Manchester Metrolink, Croydon, and South Hampshire; Channel Tunnel Rail Link; and Thameslink £1bn+ privately financed rolling stock concession.

Advising on the Cyclamen nuclear screening project, Chernobyl Sarcophagus, and proposed €1bn investment/joint venture between the Turkish Sinop and Hinkley Point nuclear power plant build.

Advising TAQA Generation LLC on the design, engineering, procurement, construction and testing for the expansion of the 330MW Takoradi T2 Electric Generating Facility in Ghana.
