Nabil is an associate in our London-based Infrastructure, Energy, Resource, and Projects (IERP) practice specialising in international energy transactions and project developments within the oil and gas sector, including advising on joint ventures, divestments, acquisitions and mergers. 

Nabil also regularly acts for major energy companies and developers on a range of transactions and developments within the green hydrogen, energy transition, offshore wind and mining sectors.

Representative experience

Gulf Energy E&P on the development of its South Lokichar oil project (onshore Kenya)

Eni on its acquisition of a 16.7% interest in the North Ganal Block from PT Agra Energi Indonesia (by way of pre-emption)*

Azule Energy on its acquisition and country entry of a 42.5% interest in PEL85 (offshore Namibia) from Rhino Resources *

Phillips 66 Continental Holding GmbH on the sale of a 65% interest in its German and Austrian retail marketing business. *

MVM ZRT on USD850M acquisition of an interest in the Shah Deniz gas field in offshore Azerbaijan*

NWIP Holdings Limited (a JV/project developer for the Australian Renewable Energy Hub Project) on its divestment of a 40.5% equity stake to bp*

Cornish Lithium on the development of its geothermal and lithium extraction drilling project in Cornwall*
