What we do

Our Tokyo-based team of approximately 40 lawyers, including six partners, provides domestic and international clients with a broad offering of legal services in relation to outbound and inbound matters. We provide tailored, innovative legal and business solutions, built on industry-leading ideas that are informed by our international presence and perspective.

Independent surveys of Japan-based law firms regularly cite the excellence of our corporate/mergers and acquisition practice and our intellectual property practice. We also support clients on cross-border dispute resolution, including commercial litigation, international arbitration, and patent litigation.

We are one of the few international law firms in Japan with genuine multidisciplinary skills in the life sciences, technology and telecommunications, manufacturing and industrial, automotive, financial services, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
