Adrian is Global Co-Head of Hogan Lovells Infrastructure and Project Finance practice and is based in London. He is named as a leading individual in "Legal 500" and has around 20 years experience of advising governments, sponsors, contractors and funders on infrastructure projects. His experience includes substantial involvement in projects promoted under the UK's Private Finance Initiative/Public Private Partnerships.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
  • Public Accommodation, Healthcare and Education: advising on many projects including; Norfolk and Norwich, Hereford, Nuffield, Doncaster, St Helens, Kings and Newham PFI Hospital deals, Kent and Birmingham BSF education projects and an entire portfolio of PFI prison projects including Serco's successful bids for Belmarsh and Maghull Prisons and the BBC's PFI style Property Outsourcing and Project North.
  • Transport: advising on light rail, metro and heavy rail projects including the Manchester Metrolink, Croydon and South Hampshire PFI projects, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Thameslink £multi billion privately financed rolling stock concession.
  • Defence: advising on a range of deals in the defence accommodation, services, training and equipment sectors including the Ministry of Defence's landmark £120 million PFI project for the design, construction, finance and operation of the new Joint Services Command and Staff College, project Armada and the refinancing of a UK Flight Simulation PPP project.
  • Energy: advising on nuclear industry projects including the UK's nuclear screening project Cyclamen, the Chernobyl Sarcophagus project and the proposed Euros 1 billion investment and joint venture arrangements between 2 world class Nuclear players.
  • Natural Resources: advising mining majors on a variety of mining deals in Africa, Middle East, Asia and South America including acting for Rio Tinto on blue sky structuring of around £4 billion worth of infrastructure assets.
