Mareike Hunfeld joined the firm in 2002 and has been a counsel since 2009. She is based in Hogan Lovells' Hamburg office and is a member of our IPMT - IP, Media & Technology group.

Mareike specialises in trademarks, designs, trade dress and unfair competion law with a particular focus on design protection, including strategic and contractual advice as well as litigation.

Mareike provides strategic advice on protection and enforcement of trademarks and designs, in particular on an international level, advises on contracts regarding trademarks, designs and company names and represents her clients in litigation before the national courts and offices. Her experience includes handling of complex multinational disputes on trademarks in Europe as well as international and multi-country prosecution of trademarks and designs, opposition and infringement proceedings, license agreements, delimitation agreements and sponsoring agreements.

Her clients include companies from the telecommunications sector as well as the food and spirits industries.
