Yara Lorenzo is a problem solver. Her clients rely on her to find solutions and produce results in response to their most difficult local and international challenges. From inception through to trial, Yara has handled complex issues, in English and Spanish, concerning diverse industries across prominent arbitral institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), and the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

Yara's practice also focuses on white collar criminal defense and internal investigations. Yara advises companies in developing, implementing, and improving compliance policies, represents companies facing potential civil and criminal liability in allegations of fraud, and advocates for clients in enforcement-related investigations and proceedings before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Department of Justice (DOJ).

Yara has been named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers in 2015 and 2016. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Yara was a judicial law clerk to The Honorable James Lawrence King of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and The Honorable Peter T. Fay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and worked as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Member of Congress Ileana Ros-Lehtinen in Washington, D.C.
