Tamsin Doran

Tamsin Doran is a senior associate in the corporate group of Hogan Lovells' London office. She has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions. Tamsin has also advised clients on joint ventures, private equity investments, corporate governance issues and corporate reorganisations. Tamsin has a particular focus on the energy and national resources sector. Prior to joining the London corporate team, Tamsin worked in Hogan Lovells' Hong Kong office and in the London office of Allen & Overy LLP.

Advising Brookfield Capital Partners on the acquisition of Greenergy, the UK's largest road fuel distributor.

Advising an international oil company on the proposed acquisition of Shell and BG's entire upstream UK portfolio.

Advising MOL Group on its acquisition of six UK North Sea licences from Premier Oil UK Limited for US$130 million.

Advising International Mineral Resources on the sale of Kozhan JSG, a Kazakh upstream oil and gas company, to Geo-Jade, a PRC company, for US$340 million.

Advising a global energy company on its disposal of certain downstream assets in Europe.

Advising Dana Petroleum Plc on its US$177 million acquisition of Bow Valley Energy Limited.

Advising IBM on the sale of its x 86 server business to Lenovo for US$2.3 billion.

Advising Actavis plc on its acquisition of Silom Medical Company Limited for approximately US$100 million.

Advising the offeror group on its mandatory general offer to acquire Cosmopolitan International Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Advising a PRC company and management on a US$125 million equity investment in the company by an international financial institution.

Advising a syndicate of banks in respect of the disposal of the properties and businesses of one of the PRC's largest wood-processing and forestry companies through a series of offshore and onshore transactions.
