Aissatou Sylla has a wealth of experience in copyright, media/entertainment and technology-related law, including consumer digital services, software licence, hosted services, data protection compliance, privacy by design, telecommunications, information security, integration and other professional services. She has significant dispute resolution experience in those areas. She also focuses on the digital transformation in Africa, including its regulatory, compliance and infrastructure components.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, she worked in London where she advised the IT & Digital functions of a FTSE 100 pan-European retail group. There, she dealt with IT contracts, data protection and IT-related disputes. Before that, still in the UK, she advised a global software company in contracts and dispute resolutions. She also worked and trained in private practice.
She graduated with law Masters in the UK, US and France where she focused on Intellectual Property Law, Entertainment Law and Corporate law. Prior to that she graduated with B.A.'s in French Law and Anglo-American Law.
Aissatou is a French and UK national and is bilingual in French and English.
