As a partner in our Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects Group, Sean applies his expertise as a seasoned project finance practitioner to some of the most complex and challenging transactions in the South East Asian region. His main area of focus is the energy sector but his practice also covers infrastructure (including seaports, airports and water) and general finance. Sean works from our Tokyo office and his practice covers the entire South East Asian region and also into South Asia and Central Asia. Since joining Hogan Lovells in 2012, Sean's practice has focused heavily on energy and infrastructure projects in Indonesia and the Philippines. Prior to that, Sean was based for several years on the ground in Thailand and Vietnam and his practice continues to have a strong Mekong flavour.

A strong negotiator, Sean has advised lenders, sponsors and governments on a wide variety of major projects, and his experience working from all sides of the table gives him a deep understanding of different players' needs and objectives.
